THE UNENDING TRAVAIL OF OJU APC CHAIRMANSHIP PRIMARY

THE UNENDING TRAVAIL OF OJU APC CHAIRMANSHIP PRIMARY .
By Otor Jackson Ogbu

If the Radio announcements are anything to be relied upon , many would have expected that all may have been settled about the Oju APC Chairmanship Primary with Austin Okwoche as the standard flag bearer for APC but the setting up of the LG Appeal committee to hear petitions arising from the primary maybe proving book makers wrong that all is not yet over . The Austin Okwoche camp are becoming jittery as there are rumors making the rounds that the controversial result of the 20th , April , 2017 primary may have been altered again before the Appeal Committee .
 Read more after the cut

The new result submitted before the Appeal Committee as speculated is as follows : (i) Ogor Idah 54 as against 265 (ii) Austin Okwoche 282 as again 71 (iii) Mike Idah 12 (iv) Arch D Angwa 12 (v) Job Ikape 3 (vi) Emma Ikwe 2 (vii) Linus Owulo 2 (viii) Emma Agbenyi 1 (ix) Sunday Awugo 1 (x) Joel Iji 1 , Invalid votes 9 total = 379 talling with the accreditation of 379 delegates as against the controversial 590 Votes that sprang up protest from OJU APC which has ridiculed and embarrassed ABBAH YARO and Benue APC leadership . This fictitious result has been the basis of the Radio announcements and celebration .

However , these hard work and smart work will surely crash when confronted with the reports of the BSIEC agent , DPO ,Oju , SSS , Oju and Sole Administrator, Oju respectively who had authorized roles in the APC Primary . These reports are less likely to be condon off by the electoral committee . So far APC , Oju Chapter has submitted its petition before the Appeal Committee as Ogor Andrew Idah is requesting the Appeal Committee to allow him present 200 Certified delegates as Witnesses to back up his petition . His Excellency , Dr Ortorm should watch over this Committee carefully to wade off affront on his integrity and restore the Masses confidence in APC with its Change mantra . Aluta continua !
